ferrets.

Draco is my boy ferret that I bought at Petco in January of 2006. I had bought all of the things I needed to have a ferret, I just needed the ferret. I went in to look at the ferrets and saw him sleeping in a hammock. He was the complete opposite of the color of ferret I had wanted, but there was something about him that made me want to get him. I named him Draco after the Harry Potter character Draco Malfoy because after I saw Goblet of Fire I decided that I had to have a ferret named Draco. He isn't very cuddley and is really independent. He has occassional moments of wanting to be pet and handled, but they are rare. He is white and silver in color and is very cat like. His face often reminds me of a cat when he yawns. He's honestly the most adorable thing I've ever seen.

Pansy is a female ferret that I also bought at Petco. I got her in March just a few short months after getting Draco. I went into Petco to buy food for Draco and saw they had a bunch of baby ferrets. I saw Pansy and asked if I could hold her and I was hooked. I had to get her. She was the cutest thing. She is dark brown in color with white on her face. She's also rather chubby and has a dark brown nose. Since I've had her since she was a baby, she is much more cuddly and enjoys giving out kisses. She is also named after a Harry Potter character by the name of Pansy Parkinson, who is in Slytherin with Draco Malfoy. Pansy is very sweet and enjoys digging to the bottom of any and all laundry baskets that happen to be around.
